Web Developer x2
Our Technical Department has one or two vacancies for web developers effective immediately.
This role will include some Linux systems administration.
You will be working within mobile telephony and micropayments industries developing new products and working with existing platforms.
You will have knowledge of the LAMP platform and be willing to work on the entire lifecycle of a project from client front-end development to database and systems installation and maintenance.
You will be working within a small team taking ideas from sales and customers alike prototyping products using agile methodologies to ensure fast route to market while continuously testing to ensure product quality.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Linux, Apache, MySQL & PHP (LAMP)
- Object oriented programming (OOP)
Advantageous
- Two years commercial experience of the above
- MySQL Replication & Backups
- CVS or other revision control system
- Networking experience such as firewalls, NAT, BGP, OSPF - training can be supplied
- Administration of Exim and/or Cyrus IMAP
- HTML, CSS, XML, Javascript
- Use of Amazon EC2 / S3 or similar facilities.
- Perl
This is a full-time permanent position based at our office in Gorleston NR31 7RA. Salary based on experience.
